The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

Today’s spotlight organization is very deserving of the stage. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints if very well organized when it comes to providing resources to help people become self-reliant.
The Church operates welfare programs and services to encourage people to care for themselves and those for whom they are responsible, to care for the poor and needy, and to achieve self-reliance. The Church’s Provident Living websitecontains a wealth of resources including family finance, education, and employment resources.
As part of The Church’s Provident Living strategy, Employment Resource Services (ERS) assists people in finding a job or improving their job opportunities by supplying them with job searching tools including a series of job search tips, a database of current job openings, and opportunities to build people’s networks. As part of its focus on employment, ERS holds free classes, such as the Career Workshop, and in some locations, the Professional Placement Program. All programs and services are free of charge.
Special thanks to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints its role as a member of the Utah Council on Financial and Economic Education. You can find The Church on Twitter and Facebook too!
