Junior Achievement of Utah

Say hello to Junior Achievement of Utah! This is definitely an organization you want to get to know.
Junior Achievement of Utah is a non-profit organization that specializes in financial literacy/education curriculum for kids from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Worldwide, Junior Achievement is the largest school- to career-based program of its kind. Junior Achievement of Utah engages the business community to present in-class programs to students to educate youth in financial literacy/education, work readiness, and entrepreneurship. Volunteers visit the classroom and use hands-on materials to demonstrate the relationship between what students learn and how it will impact their success as responsible adults.
Junior Achievement of Utah also has a learning site called Junior Achievement City located on the 4th floor of the Children’s Museum at Discovery Gateway. At the city, 5th and 8th grade students are introduced to the real world in role-playing activities where they generate income and effectively manage it within the simulated City.
Currently, JA of Utah’s programs are reaching over 63,000 Utah youth!
